Three racing codes reaffirm their commitment to responsible betting with activities.

Victoria's three racing codes have joined forces for the sixth annual Responsible Gambling Awareness Week, which began on Monday and will continue through to Saturday May 29.

What is RGAW?

An initiative of Racing Victoria, Harness Racing Victoria and Greyhound Racing Victoria, the commitment shown by these three important roof bodies will help the state government's program to promote responsible gambling and the importance of maintaining racing as a source of entertainment and fun.

During the week, the three organizations have published ads in form guides, on big screens at their race meeting and on industry websites. In addition, industry station Radio Sport National is broadcasting it Prime Time Sports Interactive program from Geelong Racecourse on Friday in a special edition to spread the message about betting responsibly.

Importance of Responsible Gambling

While there is a higher level of awareness than in the past about the importance of betting wisely, it is still in your interests to check whether the online casino or sports book you use promotes your safety and is certified by independent authorities such as eCOGRA, the e-Commerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance body.

All the casinos and bookies recommended on our website have been certified, which means that you can place online wagers at AllYouBet, William Hill, Betfair, 888Sport and many more in the knowledge that they have made a commitment to responsible gaming.

But don't forget, above all, you as the customer must also make the same commitment to yourself.
