New Poker Magazine Hits Australian Stands

The first edition of a new magazine targeted at Australian and New Zealand poker players is set to hit the stands this week.

PokerNews Australasia, being produced by PokerNetwork.com and some of the biggest names in Australian poker, is available from April 20 at all major Australian casinos and poker clubs. The magazine will be distributed to New Zealand and Asian markets in the coming months.

The first edition of the bi-monthly magazine features former Australian cricket star and keen poker player Shane Warne on the cover.

It features player profiles, interviews, product reviews, poker strategy and more.

"We are very excited to expand the PokerNews magazine family into the Asia-Pacific region," Poker News Australasia's chief editor Kirsty Mullins said. "With the Australian and Asia Pacific poker landscape expanding more than ever, PokerNews Australasia Magazine is looking to reflect these exciting developments.
